Sherry's Delicious Easy to make Stroopwafel Ice Cream Pie

We always encourage people to share there recipes with us. 

My friend Sherry has a her own business called www.breaditsinthebag.com and beside delicious breads she manufactures her own pie fillings in many flavors and uses it in in combination with DWC Stroopwafel crumbs.

Each year Sherry makes an ice cream pie for her husband. His reaction this year was "the Stroopwafels Pie Crumbs made it “over the top delicious”.

Sherry's ice cream pie is easy to make and for the best result best to be made 1-2 days in advance.  

Ingredients
  • 1 spring form
  • 1 pouch DWC No Bake DWC Stroopwafel Pie Crust regular or gluten-free
  • 1 container of softened butter pecan ice cream
  • 1 can of caramel sauce
  • 1 package of regular or gluten free Stroopwafels
  • 1 hot fudge ice cream topping
Directions
  1. Prepare DWC No Bake Stroopwafel Pie Crust like described on package (regular or gluten-free) and place this on the bottom of the spring form
  2. Place the spring form in the freezer
  3. When firm, spread with half a container softened butter pecan ice cream
  4. Cover the ice cream with a layer of caramel sauce
  5. Cover the ice cream with caramel sauce with a layer of Stroopwafel pie crumbs
  6. Than spread the remaining half of the butter pecan ice cream, more caramel sauce and a layer of chopped Stroopwafels and a drizzle hot fudge ice cream topping
  7. Put in the freezer to harden.
