Chocolate, caramel, pecans, and butterscotch, evenly layered over a buttery Stroopwafel pie crust. Yes, these Turtle Bars are pure magic.
Soft.
Gooey.
Chewy.
Magic.
This recipe is faster AND easier than making turtle cookies (thanks to https://thejennywren.com/ for sharing this recipe)! There’s even less cleanup because fewer dishes are involved–you’re pouring everything into one pan. You get all the flavors of turtle cookies, and you get the bonus aromas, tastes, and crunch of Stroopwafel crust.
So, if you need to please a crowd (Superbowl party anyone?) and do it without destroying the kitchen or draining your energy, give this recipe a try.

What’s the Best Way to Enjoy Magic Turtle Bars?
We recommend eating these warm with a cup of coffee, a scoop of ice cream, or fresh whipped topping.
To make your own fresh whipped topping, we recommend following this homemade whipped cream recipe from Sally’s Baking Recipes. It only requires three ingredients (heavy whipping cream, confectioner’s sugar, and vanilla extract).
Can This Recipe Be Gluten Free?
Yes, you can make gluten free Magic Turtle Bars by using the Gluten Free No Bake Stroopwafel Pie Crust. All other ingredients can also be purchased in Gluten Free varieties.
Can I Remove the Nuts?
Of course! Chopped pecans give the bars a great crunch, but you can skip them if you don’t like nuts or have an allergy. The Stroopwafel crust will give you some of the crunch you’d be missing from the pecans!
